1-on-1 virtual reading intervention tutoring from a Certified Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Interventionist with advanced training in structured literacy. The tutoring sessions are engaging and provide a space for children to grow their phonics skills, phonological awareness, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension.
Reading intervention tutoring is explicit, systematic, and multisensory, with instruction tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. Rather than focusing on homework or simply reviewing classroom work, intervention sessions target the specific reading skills each student needs to strengthen. The goal is to help every child build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to become a successful reader.

How does reading intervention tutoring work?
- Step 1| Get to Know Your Child: I start by learning about your child as a reader. An assessment helps me understand their strengths, identify areas of difficulty, and determine which skills need targeted support.
- Step 2| Create a Personalized Plan: I use assessment results to develop an individualized plan with specific goals and targeted instruction. I’ll walk you through my recommendations so you understand what your child needs and why.
- Step 3| Teach, Practice & Monitor: I provide explicit, systematic, and multisensory instruction designed to help new skills take hold. I regularly monitor your child’s progress and adjust instruction as they grow.
- Step 4| Celebrate Progress & Build Independence: As your child develops, I help them apply their reading skills with greater confidence and independence. Together, we’ll review progress, identify next steps, and continue building toward a lifelong love of reading.
